King Air
Pilot Training
Our training philosophy:
FlyRight's exceptional pilot training is based on high quality training equipment and experienced instructors.

Our training equipment is second to none. Our full motion simulator is certified Level-C by the FAA and is approved for circling approaches. Unlike non-motion training devices, our King Air simulator approved for single-engine approaches, crosswind landings and all the difficult maneuvers that are so important to the most critical phase of flight - landing when the conditions are difficult.

Our courseware and instructional philosphy are based on best practices from corporate and commercial training, and heavily influenced by NASA’s study of human interaction with complex machines. We focus on policy, procedures, checklists and flows, and discourage troubleshooting or creating procedures on the fly.

And we know it's hard to learn if you're bored to tears, so our instructors are focused on keeping you engaged and ensure the presentation is interesting and lively. Each of our instructors has thousands of hours of King Air piloting experience and they enjoy teaching.

King Air Pilot TrainingINITIAL PROGRAMS

FlyRight's Initial programs are thorough and efficient. You'll learn aircraft systems, limitations, performance, and procedures, as well as weather, high altitude physiology, FAR/AIMs, CRM and Aeronautical Decision Making. In the simulator you will master cockpit procedures and aircraft handling while training for normal, abnormal and emergency situations. You can get your ATP rating in our full-motion simulator in conjunction with your initial training. The ATP program adds one day to the Initial training course.

RECURRENT COURSES

Our Recurrent courses are designed to be informative to even the most seasoned King Air pilot. We review aircraft systems and focus on abnormal and emergency procedures. We recognize it’s difficult to learn if you’re bored to tears – we strive to keep our courseware interesting and our instructors are focused on keeping the training relevant. You can also get your ATP rating in our full-motion simulator in conjunction with your recurrent course. The ATP course adds one day to our Recurrent training course.

ROLLING RECURRENT COURSES

FlyRight offers an industry-first Quarterly Recurrent Training program. This FAA and insurance approved program is based on quarterly single-day training modules. This is the ideal program for pilots who want to train more frequently and ensures FAA recency.
