FLYRIGHT TO OFFER KING AIR 200 TYPE RATING

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, OCTOBER 1, 2012: FlyRight, the leading dedicated provider of King Air pilot training, has received FAA approval for its simulator-based King Air 200 Type Rating program and is now offering Type Rating courses for both foreign and international King Air 200 operators.  The King Air 200 Type Rating program is a unique offering by FlyRight and reflects the company’s commitment to providing the highest quality and value in King Air training.

The 200 Type Rating program was developed to meet the requests of numerous operators who operate the King Air in countries requiring Type Rated pilots and for those who operate the King Air 200 at gross weights exceeding 12,500 pounds.  Additionally, FlyRight has worked closely with CenTex Aerospace to develop a simulator-based pilot training program for its new King Air 200 HALO 250 STC.  The CenTex HALO 250 STC allows the King Air 200 series of aircraft to be operated at 13,400 pounds. Both Centex and FlyRight are pleased to provide a pilot training program that will allow King Air owners and pilots to get even more value from their King Airs.

According to Tom Leahy, Director of Operations, “This Type Rating program is a great value to pilots as well as owners and can be paired with either Recurrent or Initial pilot training.  For FAA-licensed pilots who meet the course prerequisites, this program will result in the best and most economical King Air 200 Type Rating available. “
